100% Sangiovese

Area of production:
Just outside the Montalcino area, the Poggio del Sasso vineyards produce grapes of excellent quality

Vinification:
Maceration on the skins takes place during fermentation and lasts approximately 8-10 days, together with frequent, gentle pumping over. Temperature control (28-30°C) during fermentation encourages good colour and supple tannins

Ageing:
Short time (2-3 months) in second year usage french barriques

Tasting Notes:
Clear, purple-red in colour, with good depth and "legs" indicating a certain structure. On the nose, the wine has clear perfumes of cherries and flowers, especially violets. On the palate, the wine is easy drinking, ripe and well balanced

Serving suggestions:
Excellent partner to antipasti, pasta dishes and light meat dishes, both red and white. Serve at 18°C
