AREA OF PRODUCTION:
Small hilly area of Ville di Corsano, village in the commune of Monteroni d'Arbia. The grape growers belong to the Cantina di Montalcino in Montalcino, near Siena
GRAPES:
Sangiovese 80%, Cabernet Sauvignon 15% and Merlot 5%
VINIFICATION:
Harvest takes place in the second half of October. Maceration on the skins during fermentation lasts approximately 15-20 days and is characterized by frequent pumping-overs. Temperature control (28°C) during fermentation encourages good colour and supple tannins

AGEING:
Ten to twelve months in Slovenian oak barriques (225 lt.) and then minimumsix months in bottle
TASTING NOTES:
Clear, intense red in colour, with reasonable depth and 'legs' indicating good structure. Perfumes of cherries and plums predominate, followed by spicy vanilla and clove aromas. The wine is lively and fresh in the mouth, with soft, rounded tannins. Good intensity, attractive structure and fine, long length
STORAGE:
Store away from direct sunlight or direct heat, preferably in a cool dark cellar
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
Delicious with rustic pasta saucec, meat dishes and game. Serve at 16°C
